The calm of God's voice... Posted by Hello

Isaiah 43

Isa. 43:1b-3a "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the Lord your God."

Isa. 43:10-11 "You are My witnesses," declares the Lord, "And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, and there will be none after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and there is no Saviour besides Me."

Isaiah 43

Created for Your glory, formed by Your great hand
You've written out my story, You've made for me a plan
No matter what I'm facing, how deep the waters roar
I know that You are with me, You've always been before.

I will not fear, I won't be scared
You've promised me Your hand
You've called my name, You've caught my heart
In You, O Lord, I stand

There is no Lord beside You, no other God I know
Since time began until it ends forever I am told,
I am precious in Your sight, Your love for me is true,
You've honoured and protected me, I owe my life to You.

I will not fear, I won't be scared
You've promised me Your hand
You've called my name, You've caught my heart
In You, O Lord, I stand.

I guess it's been awhile...

Hello again,
I guess it's been awhile since I've updated this. My roommate reminded me that it's time to post another entry! :)

This morning in church, I was meditating on Rev. 5:9-10; 12-13 (NASB) "And they sang a new song, saying, 'Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.'.... saying with a loud voice, 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honour and glory and blessing.' And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, 'To Him Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honour and glory and dominion forever and ever.' "

Our God loved us so much that He sent His perfect Son to become a living Sacrifice so that we could be free.

When I think of what You've done for me
The sacrifice to set me free
My heart rejoices, "I am loved"
Saved by my Holy God above

Your heart was broken by my sin
Yet You died and took me in
I can't repay the price You paid
But on the altar I am laid

Let glory, praise and honour be
Unto the Lamb Who set me free
You lived, You loved, You came to die
So one day I'd be glorified.
